Only individuals with approved and verified membership are permitted to use the reading room and locker facilities.
Membership is strictly non-transferable and valid only for the duration specified at the time of registration.
Members must provide a valid government-issued photo ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID) at the time of registration for verification purposes.
Any false information or invalid documentation will result in immediate rejection of the membership application or termination of membership.
Silence must be maintained at all times. Loud conversations and disruptive behaviour are strictly prohibited.
Electronic gadgets (e.g., mobile phones, tablets, laptops) are allowed but must be kept in silent mode at all times. Any gadget use that causes disturbance to others will result in warnings or penalties.
Any act of misconduct, harassment, or disrespect towards staff or other members will result in immediate suspension or cancellation of membership.
Members must keep the premises clean and follow all posted rules and guidelines.
Lockers are provided strictly for personal use and are meant to store your items related to your studies.
Storing any prohibited, illegal, flammable, or hazardous materials in lockers is strictly forbidden. Violators will face legal action and immediate termination of membership.
The management assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to items stored in lockers. Members must take full responsibility for securing their belongings.
The entire reading room is under continuous CCTV surveillance for safety and security purposes.
Any attempt to tamper with or disable CCTV cameras, lockers, or other security equipment will result in strict legal action and permanent expulsion.
The management shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings on the premises, including those stored in lockers.
Members are solely responsible for securing their items and adhering to all locker and facility guidelines.
Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or engaging in any illegal or disruptive activities is strictly forbidden.
Damaging property, defacing walls, or tampering with infrastructure will result in penalties and legal action.
Repeated violations of the rules will result in permanent disqualification from the facility.
Membership will be terminated without notice in the event of any breach of these terms and conditions.
The management reserves the right to deny access to any member at its sole discretion if rules are violated.
The management retains the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Members will be informed of significant changes, which will take immediate effect.
